Services will be beginning shortly.
It is a wonderful blessing in the life of the Christian to be able to go before
the throne of majesty and offer songs of praise, prayers, and take part in other
aspects of worship. This blessing can be marred by a mind which is far from the
task at hand. One may be thinking of a number of different items. That one may
be thinking of work, school, the upcoming big game, or other items. These may
not be evil in and out of themselves but could take away from one’s ability to
offer worship to God. Remember this statement given by David. “I will praise thee with my whole heart:
before the gods will I sing praise unto thee” (Psalm 138:1). Try not to be distracted by the world and allow God
to the main focus of your worship.
